Canine behaviour problems can definitely take a huge toll on us, and we all want well-mannered, happy dogs and sometimes this feels impossible! With a specialism in dealing with challenging behaviour issues we are here to help you and your dog get back on track and start enjoying your life together.

Qualified, Experienced, Accredited Dog Behaviourist

Support your dog from the comfort of home with a comprehensive, expert-led behaviour consultation designed to create real, lasting change. My Behaviour Consultations are ideal for dogs experiencing issues such as resource guarding, fear, reactivity, anxiety, or complex behaviour challenges.

Over a relaxed and informative 3-hour session, we take the time to understand your dog’s history, environment, daily routine, and emotional needs. You’ll receive clear explanations, compassionate guidance, and practical strategies that fit your lifestyle.

After the consultation, you’ll be provided with a fully tailored, detailed behaviour plan—a guide designed specifically for your dog, their triggers, their temperament, and your goals. This plan ensures you always know what to do, how to do it, and why it works.

What’s included:

  • A 3-hour remote consultation with a certified canine behaviour professional

  • In-depth discussion and assessment of your dog’s behaviour and underlying causes

  • Real-time coaching, demonstrations (where possible), and personalised recommendations

  • A comprehensive written behaviour plan, fully customised and easy to follow

  • What’s App support for follow-up questions after you begin the plan (3 months)

  • Evidence-based, welfare-first behaviour modification techniques

Empowering, supportive, and entirely remote—this service brings professional behaviour help straight to your home, giving you confidence and clarity as you help your dog thrive.

 FAQs

  • When your animal is doing something something unwanted, unmanageable, frightening and/or dangerous, then a behaviour support package is more appropriate to address this. Raychel has devised 'Behaviour Packages' that involve an in-depth assessment of your dog in order to provide you with the best possible advice. Behaviour issues can be complex and need a more in-depth approach, including aggression, nervousness, reactivity, noise phobias, house soiling, over arousal, separation issues are all behaviours that would be need to seen in a full behavioural consultation.

The training packages are less in depth and only suitable for training issues (things you want your dog to do) such as loose lead walking, recall, to focus on you etc would be one of the training packages, either in one, three or six sessions.

  • Consultations with Raychel require a veterinary referral. Your vet will first need to rule out any underlying medical conditions that may be affecting your dog’s or cat's behaviour. This process is in line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act and the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors code of conduct. ANY qualified behaviourist that you contact should adhere to this practice.

  • Whilst I cannot guarantee specific results, my training programmes are designed to achieve positive changes. I can’t wait to give you the support and guidance you need, to help you and your dog succeed.

  • I use positive reinforcement techniques, focusing on rewarding desired behaviours rather than punishing unwanted ones. This approach ensures a safe and enjoyable learning environment for your dog and promotes long-term behavioural changes.

  • Your initial consultation will be two to three hours long. The first half will be an in-depth discussion about your dog, their background, behaviour presentations and then motivations. Understanding your dog is important for you to be able to embark on your behaviour modification journey as a team.

The second half of the consultation is practical - training cues that are going to be useful in your dogs rehabilitation, along with your plan
